Creative Sponsorship Opportunities for Your Next Event

Inviting sponsors to share messaging that is relevant to your audience at your association meetings or other events is a great opportunity to give your audience additional knowledge or education - but the benefits go far beyond that. Utilizing sponsors gives you the opportunity to raise additional funds that ensure that your event has everything it needs. Not to mention, sometimes sponsors may even enable you to include fun extras that engage your audience and enhance their event experience.
But how can you include sponsors in your event in a way that is mutually beneficial for them and you? While there are tried and true ways to include sponsors, a good live event partner can support both you and your sponsors by coming up with creative ways to involve them in your event and create impactful event content.
Here are a few creative ideas we’ve been using to help our clients and their sponsors make the most of their partnership.
Digital Signage and Messaging.
Certain spaces in common areas get a lot of foot traffic during events. Of course, the ones that attendees can interact with or gain value from will get the most eyes, which makes them perfect for sponsors. Here are a few we showed off at our Open House.
From taking notes during sessions to checking schedules, catching up on emails, and more, cell phone batteries often die quickly at events. Which, of course, makes a sponsored cell phone charging station incredibly functional - and puts them in high demand. These portable charging stations have combination lock boxes where attendees can securely store their phones during breaks or sessions. Meanwhile, the large screen is the perfect spot for the sponsor to share their logo, important messaging, or contact information.
Similarly, wayfinding kiosks are helpful for attendees while giving sponsors a great, high-traffic location to get their message seen. When it’s not being used, the kiosk can share sponsor and event messaging. Then, when an attendee needs to use it, they can use the touch screen to enter their name to pull up their schedule, maps, find out what tables they’re assigned to during certain sessions, and more. Kiosks that give targeted information to individual attendees are regularly used, which makes it a great value for sponsors while improving the attendee experience.

Short Video Content.
Perhaps a company wants to sponsor a specific session, speaker, workshop, or other component of the event, but they aren’t sure how it’ll help get them noticed. Consider having a sponsor create video content that can play between sessions, during transitions, or outside of the sessions as attendees move through the hallways.
Whether they want to do something incredibly immersive or share their message in a straightforward way, production houses with an XR studio and greenscreen studio, like AVentPro’s, can offer full-service video production, making the creation of their content quick and easy.
These studios can also be used if an organization wants to sponsor video content, as well. From emotional storytelling pieces to videos advertising a partnership, educational videos, and everything in between, content is a great way for sponsors to provide value to your attendees at events.

Sponsored Panelist Discussions
If you’re having a panel discussion as part of your event, why not make it a sponsored one?
You don’t have to interrupt the flow of the conversation or ask the panelists to call out the sponsor. In fact, you can seamlessly incorporate a sponsor’s visuals into your setup!
One way to do this is by using our new discussion stands. With built-in microphones, a timer, and a pad to charge the panelist’s phone, these functional stands also feature a large, audience-facing display. It’s the perfect place to put a sponsor logo, or even rotate through a few sponsors’ logos if several businesses would like to co-sponsor the session.
